Live - Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 - WINNER!
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 just finished! This year the show was held in Minsk, Belarus, home of the Magic Rabbit - most epic JESC song of all the times.
Today Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia celebrates his Victory! There were only 14 participants, so also only 14 voting countries. This made scoring process very dynamic thus after each country's vote the positions in the top-5 were changing dramatically. So, final scores are:

Amazon - Black Friday Deals
Year ago this time I was expecting real deals from Amazon.com
I had placed my selected items in the wish list and was looking forward to buy them cheap.
Black Friday came, Amazon was filled with tons of 'super-deals', but no one of my wish-list item had ever penny to drop in price!
Since that moment I don't believe in Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals anymore.
But, I am ready to give Amazon another chance this year. And here it comes:

Cool concept of robotic hand gripper
Looks pretty effective. Here's how it works:

Boston - Underground Subway
Boston Subway system as part of MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority) is actually quite effective and typical for US underground transportation mechanism. But for people who came from Europe it might be shocking.
Look on the photos below - these are taken in the Downtown Boston - Government Center (!) station. It looks more like post-industrial catacombs than public transport system which need to serve local families, children and wide tourist's traffic.

Reading Google help forums gives nothing - there are only complaining posts and no solution or status provided by Google yet.
It is already like several days they have the problem and nothing is changing. Would expect better services from Google at this point.

iPod time jumping issue - iOS 4
My iPod Touch keeps changing time settings randomly after I've performed upgrade to iOS 4. This seems to appear anytime when iPod connects to some Wi-Fi, and even when it just gets the list of available WiFi networks even if there are no any public one available. It also happens on location related services starts and on Sync with the laptop.
I have correct GMT time zone specified on the laptop and tried to specify similar one at iPod. This does not help. It keeps on jumping...
The next problem is that iPod actually has not listed GMT-based time-zones! One needs to specify some city in your zone to get it 'matched'. If that would be possible one could shift the time by corresponding 'GMT+5' or 'GMT-8' setting, but this is not the case with an iPod iOS 4. So, I tried to find some city listed in the Settings, to match the zone with 'Syncronized' one, but I failed.
The only thing which temporary works is switching OFF the Wi-Fi feature. This is odd, but this is the only thing you can do to be sure, that your morning-alarm will ring on time you set it up and not a few hours late...
Does anyone has better solution yet?

Moraine Lake - 2006 vs. 2010
Here are two photos of Moraine Lake Lodge in Banff National Park nestled in the Canadian Rockies.
Actually I've found the second picture at club.foto.ru portal and was so excited about the view that decided to google out the destination. The first link I've clicked appeared to host some blog-message from 2006 (you click on photo - you'll get there) with almost identical shot! I'll bet, that if I'll try to check couple of more links there will appear tons of same similar shots again. So I am frustrated now little bit - it seems like in nowadays there is not so much unique impressions available - most of the things are just repeating each-other... Yeah...
And of-course, when I'll go there, I'll take the same picture myself again... :)

Actually I've found the second picture at club.foto.ru portal and was so excited about the view that decided to google out the destination. The first link I've clicked appeared to host some blog-message from 2006 (you click on photo - you'll get there) with almost identical shot! I'll bet, that if I'll try to check couple of more links there will appear tons of same similar shots again. So I am frustrated now little bit - it seems like in nowadays there is not so much unique impressions available - most of the things are just repeating each-other... Yeah...
And of-course, when I'll go there, I'll take the same picture myself again... :)

Munich - Sea Life at Olimpia Park
Enjoy relaxing view of nice sea life from aquarium in Munich, Germany!
Aquariums are usually our favorite attraction destinations when we are visiting some new city or town. Till the moment we've visited large aquariums in Boston, Chicago, Munich and Berlin. Also we were lucky to visit small aquarium exhibition at Hot Springs, Arkansas and ofcourse parts of Zoos in Kyiv, Stuttgart and St. Louis.
But only in Munich we finally went into the fantastic tunnel inside a huge tank (400 000 liters!) - such a view is probably most exciting and fun!
We don't know exactly who are those 'dancing coralls' you can see in the begining of the video, but they are really cute. Clown fishes, anemons, sharks, laaaaarge turtles and many others are happy there to give you best ever Live-Show you can imagine ;)
This is a great place to visit while you are in Munich. It is quite expensive so, like 14 Euros per person. But if you are a student you can enjoy a special entrance-discount! But don't expect it to be huge - students are getting off just 50 cents! It is Germany, you know... :)

Just found out that Next Blog feature from Blogger Navigation Bar provides not just random blogs, but blogs grouped by subject. Like I have seen now more than 10 blogs with small children and family photos, maternity and pregnancy discusions. And before there were appearing some blogs with pets - nice parrots, cats, dogs etc.
So, is there any button in Blogger like 'Show blog similar to mine'? That would be interesting to see!
